We hope you have found it simple to find all the answers to your questions about who we are, what we stand for and the services that we provide on this website.
Below is some further information on what you can expect from our practice.
Your first visit
For most people, your initial appointment will be for a comprehensive examination. We reserve 60 minutes to discuss your concerns, and diagnose your current oral condition.
During this appointment, we will take photographs and digital x-ray films. We will also perform an intra-oral soft tissue screening, screening of your gum or periodontal health, dental evaluation as well as screen for the oral signs that indicate increased risk to sleep disordered breathing.
We will outline available options to you, and provide the information necessary to help guide you in the direction that best suits your individual circumstances.
If you are attending with a dental emergency, or for a consultation limited to a specific service such as Invisalign, Dental Sleep Appliances or Dental Implants, please let us know so we can reserve the most appropriate time to focus on your specific need.
During your initial appointment, our dentists will assess your gum/periodontal condition and determine the extent of professional cleaning and time necessary for this treatment.
We can then arrange your professional cleaning at a subsequent appointment with one of our highly trained dental therapists.
On the day your professional cleaning is complete, the majority of our patients opt to book their next maintenance cleaning in advance. This also allows you to get the day and time that is most likely to suit you since most appointments are booked out up to 6 months in advance.
Once you have determined what treatment you would like to proceed with, you will be given a written treatment estimate that includes visit numbers and staging of treatment, insurance codes for treatment and the fees.
If you would like an estimate of insurance rebates that will apply, you can check with our front office co-ordinators to see if your insurance company allows us the function of printing these out for you.
We respectfully ask that all treatment be paid for in full at the time of treatment.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard and Amex. We also have HICAPS available for on the spot private health insurance claims. You can find out more about more on insurance at “Insurance FAQs”
We also offer interest free terms for amounts over $500 to approved applicants through GE Gem Visa.
It is practice policy that appointments 90 minutes or longer require a $200 reservation deposit to hold the time in our schedule. This amount is then applied to the cost of your treatment on the day.
