Our Team

Our entire team is committed to excellence in dental care and patient service, and are constantly attending professional development courses and workshops.

Dentists

Our dentists are all members of the Australian Dental Association. All are actively involved in continuing dental education, with a special focus on cosmetic and implant dentistry. You will find them to be very thorough and approachable.

Dr Alex Devellerez

I graduated from UWA with honours in 2000 and worked in several private and government practices before establishing Sparkle Dental in September 2004 with Dr Shereen Lim.

I have a special interest in cosmetic and endodontic dental treatments. I feel privileged to be in a profession that allows me to help so many patients and also use the latest advancements in dental medical technologies.

When not at work I enjoy running after my beautiful little girl Jessica. My other interests include golf, fishing and going to the movies.

Dr Shereen Lim

I graduated from UWA in 2000 and currently enjoy a great balance between working at Sparkle Dental part-time and looking after our gorgeous daughter Jessica.

I enjoy the combination of art, science and people that dentistry involves and I love coming into work in the environment and facility we have created, being surrounded by our fantastic highly patient focused team.

I find it especially satisfying to see so many great patients at the practice and see our patient base grow from strength to strength thanks to their loyalty and referrals.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and music. I am passionate about seeing live music and travelling to new places.

Dr Simon Frame

I have been at working at Sparkle Dental since June 2007, prior to which I worked in rural and remote areas of Western Australia following graduation from the Univeristy of Western Australia with Honours in 2005.

I have interests in many areas of dentistry and aim to give patients the time needed to comprehensively look after their oral health. I also like to continue my dental education regularly by attending continuing education courses so I can be updated in new ideas and concepts.

Other than dentistry, I enjoy skiing, music, socialising and life in general! I look forward to meeting you.

Hygienists

Our dental hygienists are professionals in oral hygiene and in the prevention and treatment of gum and periodontal (jawbone) disease. They are qualified to perform a variety of dental procedures in co-operation with the dentist. They will work with you to develop a personalised active maintenance program to minimise future problems, costs and complications.

Rachel Harvey

I graduated as a Dental Therapist in 1992 and find dental therapy rewarding in many ways; not only the variety of treatments I can provide but the sense of satisfaction that comes from making a difference to patients. Here at Sparkle Dental I feel particularly fortunate to be part of such a wonderfully committed and genuine team that attracts really nice patients.

My husband and I have have two beautiful children, Ben and Olivia who keeps us immensely happy, smiling and on our toes! In recent years my exercise regime has changed from recreation tennis, yoga and pilates, to perfecting my “Wiggles” dance moves and playing "boingies" on the pilates ball.

Among my goals this year is to continue to care for our patients in line with our mission statement and to increase patient awareness of pertinent dental and whole health issues, study results and current recommendations.

Front office staff

Our front office staff will be pleased to welcome you to our practice and handle your appointments. All are front office team members, have a happy and helpful disposition, with fantastic people skills. Our patients have endless remarks about how they enjoy being greeted at our front office!

Erika Blenkinsop

I qualified as a dental assistant in 1997 and I have been lucky enough to work as the front office co-ordinator at Sparkle Dental since 2005. I enjoy coming to work every day as I get to work with such a talented and friendly team…I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

My interests are varied and include shopping, keeping fit, snow-boarding and wake-boarding, shopping, spending time with my husband and my two gorgeous dogs, and did I mention I like shopping!

Alice Holmes

I joined Sparkle Dental in August 2008 with ten years experience in the dental industry. Here it's great to be part of a team that is so heavily focused on delivering consistently professional service and creating a great patient experience.

I spend most of my time running after my beautiful boy Jaxon, and in any spare time I have left I also enjoy yoga and walking.

Dental Assistants

Our dental assistants all hold qualifications in their fields and are especially focused on ensuring your comfort throughout your appointments. They are also responsible for sterilisation of instruments and ensure that the practice upholds the strictest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, just as in a hospital, to ensure your safety.

Bree Crouch

I graduated in 2007 and worked in another private practice for a year and a half before joining the Sparkle Dental Team in February 2008. I have experience in all aspects of general dentistry, and enjoy the challenges that get thrown our way each day.

I am a happy, easy-going person who will make your visit comfortable and leave you feeling more at ease at all your appointments.

Jannina Jones

I have been a qualified dental nurse for approximately 10 years and have been a part of the Sparkle Dental team since 2005.

Working at Sparkle is such a wonderful experience for me. The respect, honesty, fun environment and comradeship amongst the team makes coming to work easy.

When not at work, I live each day to the fullest, spending days with my two adorable grandchildren Matilda and Harrison at home or at our beach house in Greenhead. My interests are yoga, jogging, gardening and travelling with my husband and family.

Janelle Long

I have been working at Sparkle Dental since I graduated from my Dental Assisting course in 2007.

I really enjoy working in the dental industry – each day brings something new as well as getting to meet some great people along the way.

When I’m not at work, I love to relax by cooking, watching movies and spending time at the beach during summer.
